Miesha Theresa Tate ( born on 18 August 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed for Strikeforce where she was a past Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in UFC women's bantamweight rankings on October 3rd, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington. As a child Tate often played with her fellow boys from her community at the playgrounds.
